CALL FOR ENTIRES: Get some damn closure.

Current working cover.

I’ve been brainstorming a new project lately. The long and the short of it is I’m looking for entries from anyone that has anything they would like to add in the vein of “things you wish you’d heard”. Share it with a picture, a memory, a poem—say a little or say a lot.

Please leave the following information with your entry:
– name/initials/pseudonym, whatever
– age
– gender
– location
If you are not comfortable leaving a public message, please contact me via one of the methods found on my “connect” page. PLEASE NOTE: Your entry grants me the permission to use, or not use, your material and distribute it.

Because sometimes we are not afforded the luxury of hearing what we need to hear, when we need to hear it, from those we need to hear it from. This collaborative work is an attempt to provide closure to those that never got the chance when they needed it the most.

Until next time, stay awesome!

Stabbin’ things for fun.

It’s that time again—my (what seems to be) biannual “bitchbroidery” kick. The last two were commissioned pieces. There’s also a sneak peek of a new method (for me at least) to be used on some old photos I recently acquired.

Until next time, stay awesome!

Holy hell, three posts in one week.

Until next time, stay awesome!

You can’t sit with us.

1. Most recent.

2. First Identity using both traditional and digital methods.

3. Holy shit I posted two days in a row. Grool.

4. Fun Fact: Your domestic house cat would murder you if they were large enough.

Until next time, stay awesome!

Definitely not dead.

Hey, look! I didn’t post anything for a year, AGAIN! Surprise, surprise (read: tisk tisk).

A lot has happened in the last year but I won’t bore you with the details.

I’ve been noticing a handful of new followers over that past couple weeks and I’m not exactly sure what that’s about but hello and welcome! I suck at posting here on a regular basis, as you can see, so don’t expect too much from me I guess. However, I keep my Instagram (@makenapeet) pretty up to date so feel free to follow me there to get first looks. This is a great time to mention that, as usual, if you do follow me there (or on Facebook) then you’ve probably already seen these so I’m sorry for sucking at life.)

These are the second most recent iteration of my Identites—all were created using oil pastels. I know, I know. She’s still beating this dead horse, you say? Why yes, yes I am.

Remember, “Deep Down We’re All Clowns”

Until next time, stay awesome!
